Key Responsibilities:
- Aircraft Maintenance: Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on various aircraft systems, including airframes, engines, avionics, hydraulics, and landing gear.
- Diagnostics and Troubleshooting: Identify mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment, develop solutions, and execute repairs to ensure aircraft are airworthy.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance actions, inspections, and repairs in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies to ensure the highest levels of safety and quality.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, other mechanics, and quality control teams to ensure seamless operation and maintenance of aerospace vehicles and components.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest advancements in aerospace technology and maintenance practices, actively contributing to process improvements and innovation.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certification in aerospace mechanics or related field preferred.
- Experience: Experience in one or more areas of aerospace mechanics, such as airframe, powerplant, avionics, or specialized systems.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., FAA A&P, EASA Part 66, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform tasks that require manual dexterity.
